Name Change / Correction
After an evaluation report has been issued, applicants may request updates or corrections to their name through our name change service. Legal name changes require official documentation that evidences the change, such as a court order or a government-issued record. Minor corrections—such as typographical errors, abbreviations, or the addition or removal of a middle name—require a brief written explanation and any relevant supporting documentation. For CPA examination applications, the name on the evaluation must exactly match the applicant’s passport.
