REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

CUBA

Country-specific requirements below supplement FACS’s general document policies and definitions listed at the bottom of this page. Please submit all documents that apply to your educational history. All documents must be issued by the appropriate examining authority, awarding body, or degree-granting institution.

IMPORTANT:  If the issuing institution is able to send official academic documents directly to a third party, documents must be sent to us directly by the institution. We are unable to accept applicant-submitted documents when a direct institutional delivery option exists.

Electronic Document Submission Policy

Electronic academic documents are accepted only when sent directly by the issuing institution or its officially authorized agent. Documents must be transmitted from an official, verifiable institutional email address or secure system that is authorized to issue student records (for example, a registrar, examinations office, or records office).

Documents sent by applicants, third parties, or from personal or unverified email accounts are not accepted. We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of all electronic submissions and to request additional documentation or alternate delivery methods when needed.

Vocational/Professional

There are no nationally standardized or consistently published document requirements for vocational or professional education in this country. As a result, documentation is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Applicants should submit all available academic records, certificates, transcripts, and awarding documentation related to the program completed. Additional documentation may be requested if required to complete the evaluation.

Additional Information

  • Official legalization of documents may be required prior to evaluation.

Original Documents

An original document is the first issue document given to the student from the institution, typically at the completion of studies or at the time the degree/diploma is awarded. These documents are usually printed on security paper, have a raised seal, are stamped with ink, or include a signature of authorized personnel.

Will I need anything else?

While we aim to outline all standard document requirements in advance, educational systems and credentials vary by country and institution. As a result, evaluators may occasionally request additional documentation when necessary to ensure an accurate and complete evaluation.

Official Documents Required

FACS uses only official educational documents when preparing your evaluation. Please do not send photocopies or scans of your academic records, unless directed to do so by FACS.

After You Apply

Ask your school to send your documents AFTER you apply. Use our Academic Request Form if needed. Fill out your details, and a PDF will be emailed to you. You may then submit this PDF to your educational institution. They will complete their form section and submit it to FACS with your official records.
